Director General Mr. Pentti Partanen from the Rescue Department of the Ministry of the Interior will be the Head of the Exercise. Project Leader Mr. Petteri Taitto from the Crisis Management Centre Finland is responsible for exercise preparations which include coordination of national and international authorities and agencies, project management, design of the seminar and exhibition program and Table Top Exercise. Rescue Director Mr. Jari Aalto from the State Provincial Office of Lapland will chair the regional planning group. The regional planning group is responsible for coordinating local resources, planning ALARMEX, FTX and the training of the personnel. All BEAC member states and observer states are called to participate in the exercise.
