Course description
The course presents an overall approach to tackling organized crime in host states by linking political and tactical levels, and providing a comprehensive list of examples and recommendations for each phase of the process. Doing so, it supports advisers and their missions and local counterparts in a range of circumstances.
The course provides an overview of good practice in assisting authorities in the host country to identify and implement efficient strategic and tactical tools to disrupt organized crime groups and activities.
The trainers include experts on organised crime and the authors of The CSDP Handbook on Advisory Support to Tackling Organized Crime. Handbook will be utilized throughout the training.

Aim
The course aims to enhance missions’ and other international organizations’ personnel’s capacities in Somalia in assisting local authorities in countering organized crime.
Target audience
Monitors, trainers, advisors and mentors in the field of organized crime working for international missions and operations in Somalia.
