The course aligns with the training requirements of various international organisations, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>EU Policy on Training for CSDP and EU Civilian Training Group Strategic Guidance on CSDP Civilian Training<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implementing Guidelines for the EU Policy on Training for CSDP<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>UN Core Pre-Deployment Training Materials (CPTM) and in the case of police STM UNPOL<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>UN Strategic Guidance Framework for International Policing (SGF)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>OSCE Competency Model<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The BCCCM also takes into account the work and standards established by, for example, the European Security and Defence College (ESDC) and EU-funded training projects such as Europe\u2019s Training Initiative for Civilian Crisis Management (ENTRi), EU Police and Civilian Services Training (EUPCST) and the EU Civilian Training Initiative (EUCTI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Course objectives<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The BCCCM provides participants with the fundamental knowledge, skills and competencies required to serve as experts in the field of Civilian Crisis Management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Time and venue<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The course is tentatively scheduled to take place in Finland from 14 to 20 September 2026. The final course dates and venue will be confirmed closer to the start of the course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CMC Finland reserves the right to cancel, postpone or modify the training or its dates if necessary. Please note that the format, in which the BCCCM will be delivered in 2026, has not yet been decided. This information will be communicated to selected participants as soon as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants will be required to complete selected <strong>e-learning modules<\/strong> during the preparatory phase preceding the residential part of the course. Moreover, the <strong>full attendance for the entire duration of the course <\/strong>is essential in order to pass the course. A compulsory <strong>mock interview<\/strong> for civilian crisis management positions will be organised for Finnish participants within two months after the residential phase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Target group<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>CMC Finland is seeking applicants with various expertise relevant to international missions\/operations and who are motivated to apply for such positions. The course is intended for individuals who meet the minimum work experience requirements: <strong>three years of relevant work experience<\/strong> (or <strong>six years for Finnish police officers<\/strong>, and <strong>three years for civilians employed by the Finnish Police<\/strong>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We welcome experts from a variety of professional backgrounds. Please refer to the list of <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-global-color-12-color\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/16vfAynKzNaFbe7zYRR4dEnGrSLUBTySk\/view?usp=sharing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">job descriptions<\/a><\/strong><\/mark><strong> <\/strong>to see examples of positions previously advertised and assess whether they align with your profile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Successful completion of the BCCCM is strongly recommended before applying for crisis management positions through CMC Finland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Costs<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>CMC Finland covers the<strong> tuition fee, accommodation, and meals<\/strong> for the duration of the course. <strong>No per diem<\/strong> is provided.
