CMC has released its training calendar for the year 2024. We will be hosting a total of five civilian crisis management courses next year, including one basic course as well as one election observation course. The basic course is typically the first step for experts interested in pursuing roles in civilian crisis management – it is considered a significant advantage for those aiming for field positions in civilian crisis management missions.
In 2024, CMC will also offer courses tailored for those working in high-risk areas (Hostile Environment Awareness Training, HEAT), individuals interested in election observation (Short-Term Election Observation, STO), and those in need of mediation tools for their work (Mediation). Additionally, in collaboration with the European Security and Defence College, we will conduct pre-deployment training for personnel already selected for EU operations (ESDC Pre-Deployment Training). We will continue to enhance the language skills of experts by offering courses in French and Russian. Moreover, CMC will provide pre-deployment training for all employees who will be deployed to operations, comprising at least a day-long session on terms of service and a session on the operational area.
For further details about the courses and how to apply, please refer to our course calendar, which includes both, the courses organized by the Crisis Management Centre, and those organized by our partners, where we send experts from our expert pool. The courses organized by our partners will be published in the course calendar throughout the year as confirmation of their scheduling is received.
When the application period for any course begins, we will send out notifications through our Newsletter service (Subscribe to our Newsletter). Please check the “Newsletter” box if you wish to receive information about the course offerings.
