International election observation

CMC Finland deploys election observers as long-term (LTO) and short-term (STO) observers to election observations missions of the European Union and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). In accordance with the Civilian Crisis Management Act, CMC Finland concludes an employment contract with the experts deployed to OSCE election observer assignments for the duration of the assignment. In EU election observation missions, the role of CMC Finland is limited to the recruitment process of the Finnish candidates.

National Focal Point for election observation

HR specialists of CMC Finland act as Finland’s National Focal Point in matters related to OSCE and EU election observation. National Focal Point of election observation liaises with the OSCE and EU Election Observation entities as well as with National Focal Points of other countries.
