CMC Finland’s training services first received the ISO 9001 quality assurance certificate in March 2020. Now, the certificate was renewed for another three years in March 2023.
Training is one of CMC’s core functions and is a concrete tool for capacity development of the Finnish civilian crisis management experts. By organizing several basic and advanced courses CMC Finland builds its pool of experts ready to be deployed to multinational operations. We aim to ensure that Finnish secondees are prepared to undertake their tasks in missions, and are able to work effectively while ensuring their own safety.
To achieve this goal, it is important for CMC to have a standardized model for its course planning and certify training related processes. As training requirements and needs evolve it’s important to ensure the consistency and quality of our trainings. The standardization of the processes of mapping new training needs, assessment and integration of new elements into the planning of courses is an essential tool.
The ISO 9001 certificate is a tool for both quality management as well as continuous development of CMC Finland’s training services. CMC organizes approximately 7-8 trainings annually with more than 170 attendees.
